About Me
Georgina Patterson, MSc
There are times when we all feel stuck or unsure where to turn for help. We know we want to make changes but we are unsure how to get there. I realised that I had a knack for helping people to help themselves. I can help you to dispel your personal myths and challenge negative attitudes, bringing about the strongest outcome: belief in your happy self.
I am a highly trained people specialist, constantly refining my understanding of what makes people tick! For the last 15 years I have supported individuals, couples and families to make positive changes in their lives. I have also worked with high performing teams and organisations, helping them perform at their best in safety critical business environments.
A leader of my own team in the Royal Navy, I suffered Stage 3 Burnout. I didn’t recognise the condition I was slipping into and it was a huge learning experience for me. It was not until a doctor made me stop work for a period that I realised “I was not ok”. I had to reassess the things that were important to me and find my own core values; a sort of soul searching. Whilst recovering, I explored Dartmoor to rebuild both my physical and mental health – hence my company name ‘Moor Mindful’.
